Operation Iraqi Children
Thanks to Michael Yon for introducing me to Operation Iraqi Children.
This is an awesome cause that helps Americans send School Supply Kits to Iraqi children. I can’t think of something better to show the true spirit of America while planting seeds that will last a lifetime.
Look at these kids – so happy with so little… God bless them! Its this kind of spirit that is the true hope for Iraq’s future.
And God bless OiC founders Gary Sinise and Laura Hillenbrand! What a great idea…

Is this *the* Gary Sinise? From Forest Gump? That’s very classy of him. He should shore up a part in Bruce Willis’ pro-soldier movie which was announced.

Hi Andy! So, I haven’t actual read the above post that I’m technically commenting on, but I wanted to get you back tit for tat, bloggystyle. Glad you got home safe, but oh wowowow about the snafu – were the Swissies speaking English, or was it even worse that they were babbling and giggling loudly in foreign tongues? I once got held up for 12ish hours in a Paris airport, and I’ll admit, my friends and I did decide to spend our last Euros on a big bottle of duty-free rum.. but it actually just kind of put us to sleep.
It was wonderful to see you, and thank you so much again for making the stop. I’m so lucky!
