Glad you got home safe, but oh wowowow about the snafu - were the Swissies speaking English, or was it even worse that they were babbling and giggling loudly in foreign tongues? I once got held up for 12ish hours in a Paris airport, and I'll admit, my friends and I did decide to spend our last Euros on a big bottle of duty-free rum.. but it actually just kind of put us to sleep.
