I'm one of those friends that you refer to who has suffered through this horror with Mikey. He's a dear friend...as are Mrs. Mikey and Mini Mikey (their daughter). Thank you for your link AND for your support. I know I'm a stranger, but I give you my word as a devout Christian woman...this is all very real and very horrible. Mikey is doing better...in fact, he may come home this week. We don't know when, if ever he'll be back to work. We live in San Diego. The reality is that one income isn't sufficient to survive down here. Every penny is going directly to the Mikey family to help with expenses such as rent, groceries, power bills, car payments and the like. To verify it further, go visit several other (probably more 'notable') blogs...such as the Indepundit or DaGoddess, both of whom have also been posting extensively. I've taken enough of your time. I just wanted to assure you that this is real...so very very real. Thank you for your kindness.
