Ehh, Oy Vey Doc!
Looks like some industrious folks in Israel are serious about getting into the animation business. Jerusalem Venture Partners recently unveiled the Jerusalem Animation Lab, Israel’s first-ever media center. Along with multimillion-dollar animation and gaming studios, the startup will also create content for cellular phones.
Is Israel trying to give India a run for its money?

Well that would be interesting… the difference is you don’t have to dodge bombs in India as much. Actually I’ve seen some really nice animation come out of Israel such as at http://www.crew972.com but on the other hand I have yet to see anything really eye-catching come out of India. Don’t get me wrong, India is quite capable as well when it comes to animation but I personally haven’t seen anything that really wows me!
