[...] While I applaud Palin as a vice-presidential candidate choice in the face of the opposition, I don’t think she has enough experience to be president. Fortunately, she’s the VICE PRESIDENTIAL candidate. Hello Libs, the VP has no power. She doesn’t have enough experience to have the power. She has more than Obama, but not enough. Why the hell do the Dems seem to be making this election between Obama and Palin? Yes, if McCain dies, she will be President. But, the Dems bemoaning this point? How stupid! Last I checked, Palin has a LOT more experience actually running things than Obama. Remember, the only thing that Obama can come up with to demonstrate his leadership potential is his own campaign!
HAHA! I've long suspected, but have just confirmed that you ARE the smartest man on the planet. :) Man, you hit the nail on the head. "Lets not bother with real issues, lets distract with BS topics and keep people confused, so that they only vote based upon their feelings, which are much easier to manipulate than facts!"

I don't get why the Presidential front runner would compare himself to the VP candidate.

I've never seen so much FUD and crap slung over a VP (!!) choice before. It's all pretty pathetic and desperate.

An aside- I was in line at a store the other day, and I heard a woman in line behind me talking to some other people in line: "...they SAY they support women, but then they don't put one on the ticket! I'm sick of it!" Several other people she was talking to whole-heartedly agreed. I had to chuckle. I figured they were some Hillary supporters royally pissed off now that the Rep ticket has a woman on it, and the Dems don't. Political correctness coming home to bite the Democrat Party on it's behind.

The Dems have done such a good job of pandering to people based on every USELESS criteria under the sun (gender, race, sexual preference. legal status) that unless they put a gay, black, transgendered, illegal alien, woman on the ticket... some block of the pandered-to are going to feel left out and pissed off at them!

Way to make the things that no one is supposed to make a big deal out of... into a constant BIG DEAL.

To me, too much of politics is the art of making the trivial, and the hopelessly shallow and stupid, become the most pressing and important thing imaginable. I mean, the experience level of a front runner that compares himself to the other side's VP choice? Who cares about that, that would actually involve SUBSTANCE, and wouldn't fit in a snippy little soundbite. Better to focus on race, gender, feigned outrage over some dumb comment, or some other litle detail.. now THAT'S the important stuff.
